I spent 12 years at Sant Bani School and loved my experience there. I was respected by staff and students and have many happy memories. The school encouraged me to express myself as an individual and taught me to work with and care for others in community. The rigorous academic program prepared me well for college and the emphasis on service prepared me to be an active and compassionate citizen of the world.

I now have the opportunity to experience the school as a parent, since my daughter started there this fall. Our whole family has been pleased with her experience. The campus is in a beautiful wooded location and the students spend a lot of time outdoors, which is so important for the development of young, growing bodies. Respect and kindness towards others is emphasized and taught. The teachers are dedicated, professional, and nurturing. They take the time to get to know each student. Sant Bani cares for the whole child: brain, body and spirit.
Your experience is usually what you make of it, while no place is perfect, my two years at Sant Bani blessed my life in numerous ways. It was an extension of home and family, and I love the back to nature, comfortable atmosphere that truly made learning a hands on and inspiring experience. I wouldn't trade my time there for any other place.
The school was great when I went there, and the program has only improved in the intervening years.
This school gave me a great nature based learning experience, great foundations in Spanish and a love of math that continues years later.
I appreciate the focus on the outdoors and community as well as the arts which are all programs I believe in.
Overall the school has been very attentive to the needs of our children, and we have felt engaged with the program to help design an experience that works for them and us.
We love this school! Our daughter is in 4th grade and son 1st. The teachers are attentive and innovative employing both student-directed and challenge-based projects regularly. Our daughter has been supported socially while being appropriately challenged academically. We have received focused feedback for our son in particular on his reading and speaking which have been very helpful.
The spiritual focus is light-weight enough for our family and non-denominational. Although the vegetarian lunches took a bit of getting used to, it is now something we all embrace in school, and as an educator I like to see an institution live by its mission.
